The intention is to provide a list – as complete as possible – of the european artists colonies.You can easily use the map, to make an overview.

The list is compiled from several sources, and we have not yet validated the content in relation to the definition of an artists colony. Therefore, some of the places in he list will rather be defined as artists commuities or towns random visitied by artists from time to time.
